How to fix Better Search and Replace Plugin error suggesting to decreasing the “Max Page Size”?

To fix this error, please follow the steps below:

For example, if this happens with Better Search and Replace plugin,

  1. Hover mouse above Tools menu on the left pane and select “Better Search and Replace” option.
  2. Now, click on settings.
  3. Lower the slider to 3000.
  4. Click on Save settings.

Now, check if the issues are fixed.

This is the first step to fix the issue without any hassles.

If the issue is not fixed by changing the max size, then you have to try lowering it to 2000.

In case, it is not fixed, then you will have to increase the below settings in the .htaccess file:

php_value upload_max_filesize 1000M
php_value post_max_size 2000M
php_value memory_limit 3000M
php_value max_execution_time 180
php_value max_input_time 180

After that, edit  wp-config.php file and then increase the memory limit for WordPress as below:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘3000M’);

Other issues causing this problem are:

  1. Limits by hosting provider,
  2. Plugins installed in the WordPress.
  3. RAM and Memory usage high and need to move to a more powerful server.
