Steps to remove or fix prednisoned dot com wordpress virus

  1. Login to the WordPress admin page by visiting http://ift.tt/ww5jlA.
  2. Then click on Appearance tab on the left.
  3. Click on widgets.
  4. Now, you will see the active widgets on the right side or the left side bar.
  5. Click on the respective sidebar within which the issue is, and it will expand button to display the widgets under it.
  6. Then, check for the widgets listed and note down the settings configurations.
  7. Now, click on categories widget and then delete the widget.
  8. Clear/purge the caches and then check if the issue persists.
  9. If issue is fixed, add the widget once again and the hacked entry will be deleted.
