A comment to OnePlus Android user about stolen phone / android theft

Please take this seriously…
I lost my OnePlus 5 today. The person who took it has toggled the data and I missed him just a few 100 meters close to trace the location.
It’s a very big security concern that the lost phone allowing Access to modify settings, reset phone or gain access using usb connectivity.
These data usually used to recreate fake profiles and misuse affect the real people.
The other concern is that your OnePlus service team and showroom team is ready to reset the phone for a bribe.
Shame on your team doing this. There should be an option to alert phone loss and all service centers and showrooms be alerted about the imei numbers.
In case we contact the customer care, we novices find that we know more than them.
Kindly help with a solution
